About Me

Lady Batlord Saga
New record, 'The Chronicles of Lazer: Vol. I', is now available for purchase here!
A show review from soundonthesound.com:
"Surrounded by a sweaty hollering crowd in Seattle's Cascade neighborhood, Marvin Lazer saved the world. He didn't do it all by his lonesome, but to say more would spoil the epic tale that is the story of the Discs of Fury. Jeff of M Bison promised it would be a night to remember, and it most assuredly was...
...Discs of Fury were the center of attention this evening [though], and to a packed crowd the heroic tale unfolded. Part parody and all fantasy, the story of Discs of Fury is age old, with our protagonist Marvin Lazer appointed as the savior of the world from the forces of evil. Discs of Fury is the story of his journey and how he gathers companions to help him defeat the dark Batlord. Hilarity ensues, a love story begins and tragically ends, and Marvin Lazer realizes his true power. Complete with costumes, plastic toy weapons, a narrator and additional actors, Discs of Fury is a complete production.
This particular evening was happening in celebration of five of the songs from the rock opera coming out on Discs of Fury first EP The Chronicles of Lazer: Vol 1. The songs, completely over the top, fit snugly into the personality of the demands and the setting. Part Freddy Mercury, part Pete Townshend, and part Hedwig, Marvin Lazer spared no calorie in his quest for vocal supremacy. I swear to god I felt like I was in the middle of an eighties action movie during a couple of the training montage. Jean-Claude would be proud."
