About Me

Hey Up!
I am a ginger (actually it's strawberry blond daahlin'), scandinavian, fascist hippie... At least that is what my girlfriend sometimes refers to me as - but I do love both art, music and business with the same passion. In common is that they can all be done in both beautiful and despicable ways.
After growing up in Denmark, I moved to Toronto at the age of 18. Here i started working for various studios as what you might refer to as a studio bitch - Top engineer Jeremy Darby took me under his wing and with him I worked with many great artists and bands from Lou Reed an Peter Gabriel to Bare Naked Ladies and Tom Cohrane. After 2 years I got offered to join Paul McCartney's music school in Liverpool which I did, during which I won The Times Song Writer and Composer Award, The Sennheiser Award and got myself a publishing deal with Global Talent Publishing. After completing that I did an MBA in Music Industries to top-up my knowledge on intellectual copyright, contractual law, marketing etc.
Anyway - I am rambling like a bastard old man!
I now live and work in London where I have a studio. As a writer/producer I have had a handful of no1 albums around the world, a few top 10 European singlesI have also written the theme music for various TV shows including The X Factor and America's Got Talent (NBC America's Top Rated Show in 2006) in collaboration with l'incroyable Mr Andrew Loverman. I am currently signing a couple of really exciting acts to my production company, so more on that in the immediate future.
I also own JOWU Entertainment & Media, an entertainment/consultancy business in China. My partner and I represent western companies and recording artists for consultancy and management in Asia. Amongst other things we manage the arguably biggest western band in Asia, MLTR. They have so far sold over 10mill albums and we have just reached the 6mill figure for the download sales of their latest, download only, release.
Other things are also in the pipeline but don't sell the hide until you have shot the bear as we say in Denmark... Make sense? I didn't think so.
