Fusion Dreams

I am adept in playing Indian classical violin/contemporary Indian music/ fusion music. I lead a group which performs contemporary Indian music. The mystifying violin with the confluence of beats and the rapid cycles of rhythms define the effervescent contemporary flavour. I present a new cross-cultural music churned from one of the world's great ancient traditions. I am looking beyond my roots for inspiration by interacting with master musicians from other music traditions. My music is served with a blend of virtuosity and creativity culminating in a celebration of the harmony of spirit and mind. I am exploring the world of music with modern consciousness and traditional aesthetics, connecting different genres of music to Indian music. My work is a fusion of exciting contemporary violin playing and expressions from around the globe. My performances include elegant fusion of Carnatic/ Hindustani classical with Irish folk, African music and jazz /pop/blues.
