Nell Robinson & Red Level

Come see us at McGrath's Oct 26th!

About Me

While Nell is new to all this, Larry, Jacob, Brian and Andrew come with a long list of credentials. Larry's band Cabin Fever has been featured at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival and Jacob's band Lost Coast Bluegrass is making their mark at the Freight & Salvage in February. Brian cut his bluegrass teeth opening shows for Doc & Merle Watson some thirty years ago and has led an eclectic musical career ever since. Andrew Conklin plays bass with the Mountain Boys and Lost Coast; plays guitar, sings, and composes with Amos Payne. Nell has sung at Mill Valley's famous Sweetwater Saloon with her band Free Range.

Our music is a mix of traditional bluegrass, with some country and alternative-folk thrown in. Listen for the Stanley Brothers, Laurie Lewis, Loretta Lynn, Gillian Welch, the Weepies, Lucinda Williams and Bill Monroe.
