Well since I was about 9 or 10 years old, I used to love listening to Kiss FM when they would always do their mashups. So 5 years later and a friend of mine gets his hands on some software (Cubase) that i could play around on, so I did. It was 2 years after that that I downloaded a free version of ableton live in which I could layer tracks and change tempos (which is all you really need in order to make a mashup) Now I'm studying music technology at WAC in Belsize Park, learning how to use ableton in its full version, and eventually making my own tunes. So I've gotta look after my money and buy myself the full version of ableton so i can do it more, and not just a few hours a week at college.
