M&X is a duo consisting of a rapper and a singer, Mando "El Poeta" y Xtina "Negra Fina". Both are from Northern Virginia, and are of Hispanic background. Mando [Rafael Alvarez] was born in Venezuela, of a Venezuelen mother and Dominican father. Xtina [Christina Lora] was born in the U.S., of Dominican parents. , founded by Ervin Quiroz. Since then, the group has perfomed at various school functions, and opened for various people. M&X opened for Xtreme, Del Patio, LDA, Fuego, Da Coneccion, and Javier Julian. Their music is a blend of all types of genres, including predominantly reggaeton, to R&B/Hip Hop, Bachata, and Techno. With their music M&X hope to someday be heard all around the world and make a name for themselves among those admired by people of all ages; as well as put Virginia on the map.
