I've been playing pool since I was 16yrs old. Pool has taught me dedication, focus, endurance and persistence. Over the years I have been teaching myself to play pool and got caught by the bug.
I continued playing, loosing to my opponents until I began to pay attention by learning the rules, creating drills for myself and playing the best players at every location. As I became comfortable and confident in my game, I began to tell myself and all of my opponents of future plans to play on ESPN as a professional.
Transforming plans into reality, I buckled down, got serious and found the APA, (American Pool Players Association) joined the league for the 2006 Spring Session and finished top shooter in the assigned rank. At the End of the 2006 Summer Session, I not only moved up in rank but also qualified for the Regional 8 Ball Classic Singles Board. Determined to move forward, I contacted Mr. Nate Bryant, aka “Okinawa Slimâ€, (President of the World Pool & Billiard Association – Artistic Pool Division), in regards to finding billiards coaches in the area. Mr. Bryant, my mentor, gives guidance and direction in obtaining my goal. On November 19, 2006, I won the Regional Singles Board and advanced to compete in the APA National Championships Singles in Las Vegas, NV April 26-28th, 2007. I placed 17th out of 182 in my tier. When You find something you are good at nurture that talent, learn your craft, set a schedule to practice, find a professional trainer to assist you, surround yourself with others that are like minded and make sure you set goals follow through to accomplish them. This is what I live by and this is why my life is changing towards my goal to compete and be the best that I can be as a Touring Professional Billiard Player.Success by Any Means Necessary!
