Doctor Who

In December 2006, Big Finish offered new writers the chance to have their work published in one of their 2007 volumes of Doctor Who - Short Trips short story anthologies.We decided to revisit a plot that had been slowly evolving in our heads for a couple of years and enter the competition. During our days at college we had a friend called Emily who worked in a retirement home, and our idea of it being haunted eventually became “Cellar Door”, a title we chose not only in reference to a great evil lurking in the basement of Whittingham Hall Retirement Home, but as homage to Donnie Darko, one of our favourite films of all time.As the competition itself received over a thousand entries (The competition closed on the 31st of January and Big Finish are yet to choose a story to publish.) we realise that in all likelihood our mini adventure would never see print. It would seem a great shame if the story remained unread and as lifelong fans of Doctor Who ourselves we would love Cellar Door to be shared and enjoyed by others, and so we decided to set up this myspace page to share our tale with other Doctor Who fans.We hope you enjoy the read, and that we might share more adventures through time and space together in the near future…I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
