Buccanneer Bunch was born as Kristof Janssens on the 15th of October 1985 at Aalst, Belgium. At the end of the 1990s he quickly became interested in electronic music, especially the Trance genre when he first started to hear about DJ's like Armin Van Buuren, MIKE and Airwave. For several years now Buccaneer Bunch has been experimenting with music himself. He started to create not only mixes with his favourite music, but also edits and remixes. On the 31st of October 2006 he was given the opportunity to do a guestmix on the Benelux In The Mix 001 radio show on Afterhours.FM. People started to find out about his talent for a great selection of music and wonderful buildups in his livesets.
Thusti, also known as Koen Janssens, was born on the 27th of April 1984 at Aalst, Belgium. As a teenager he bought, together with his brother, two wonderful Numark turntables to spin some vinyl and record his mixes on cassette tape. Also around that time Thusti started to experiment with music production on the PC with a wonderful software synthesizer and drum computer called Rebirth from the Swedish company Propellerheads. Later he also started to experiment with other audio software after which his music became more professional sounding. His recent tracks have received some very positive feedback.
More recent Thusti and Buccaneer Bunch started to join their talents to experiment with music together. You can hear them monthly on www.Afterhours.fm with their new debut radio show Essential Things of Live which provides the listeners with a journey through progressive house and trance music.
