Rog

Rog started a musical career in 2005. For this short period he had time to make a worthy name and work out his own style of djing, the sound approach and the stuff selection that don’t look like other ones. He prefers using vinyl. He sets a stress on a lively “mainstream”. His favorite labels are: Hospital, Med School, Timeless, C. I. A., Social Studies, Beta Recordings. His favorite djs are: Cyantific, Logistics, Craggz & Parallel Forces, CLS, Tactile, Mistabishi, John B.

Since 2006 Rog has been engaging in a mutual creative work with a saxophonist Oleg’ Bo. Time and again he played live sets in Minsk. He also took part as a headliner in such actions as “Black&White” (Ukraine), “Eshe Leto” (Brest, Belarus). He prefers dynamic mixing in sets. Since 2007 he has been placing high emphasis on the creation his own compositions. His tracks were appeared in the “Silver Spirit” set series.It’s also worth mentioning about the rotation of the 7th part of “Silver Spirit” in the program “Basstech” on the “Novoye Radio” radio station. Rog played in such clubs as: “Step”, “Bronx”, “Belaya Vezha”, "Reaktor", bar “EE”, cafe “Dobrye Mysli”, cafe “Merkury”, “BelExpo”, “DA-club”, restaurant “Voyazh”, “Limon” (Ukraine), airport “Brest”, “Stop-Line” (Grodno), motel “Ptich”, the Vavilovo’s factory.

One of the major Rog’s achievements are: taking part in Byelorussian open air festival in Borovaya, playing with Aphrodite, Technical Itch, D-Bridge, The Sect, Mutated Forms, Paul B, Salamandra, Astralas, Medicine, Jimi Tenor, gigs in Ukraine, in Brest, Vitebsk, Mogilev and Grodno.
