Iron Cage started in the summer of 2004 with Gosse (vocals), Hans (drums), Rene (bass), and Ferry (guitar). They took the name from sociologist Max Weber who used the term to refer to increasing rationalization of human life, which closely reflects the band's ideas and lyrics.
In 2005 they recorded the cd "we turn our heads" (released in 2006 by breaksome records). The second record is called "nature is not mute, modern man is deaf" and is released by pissed off records (malaysia) in 2008. Both albums are recorded in the SingSing Studios by Milan, the artwork is taken care of by Mirka.
