My name is Patty Brightwell Vaughan. I disappeared from my home December 25, 1996. I have 3 beautiful children that I NEVER would have left behind. My van was found a day after my disappearence on the side of the road. It was left with an intentionally deflated tire and wiped clean of any finger prints. The seat was moved all of the way back, to far for me to have been the last driver. The police evidence collection team found my blood in the van and signs of an attempt to clean all of the blood. In my home the police found my blood in my bedroom and the bathroom and also in the mop and mop bucket. My mother, sister, brothers, cousins and Aunt looked for me everywhere and to this day, they continue looking. It is sad that my husband never looked for me.A NOTE FROM THE SPACE MANAGER: Pictures of Pattys children are not on this site out of respect for their privacy. I hope that the 3 of you one day realize we never wanted distance between your mothers family and you. Our only agenda is to find your mother and lay her remains to rest. Know that if you ever want them, we have tons of pictures of you with your mother. I am sure that you have some from your father, but in case you want more, since I know that you have precious memories. All you have to do is request them. We love you and we miss you very much.
