Christoph Hermann - Jubal Music

About Me

Christoph Hermann started out as a child prodigy at age five playing recorder in his church baroque ensemble. By age eleven he was given a strarring role in the Academy Award nominated short film "The Violin" (1971). Although a classically trained violinist, by age fifteen, he discovered the electric violin, revolutionizing his sound pallette.
Since then, Chris' musical progression has taken him on a kaleidoscopic journey through progressive rock, latin, jazz, fusion, world, improvisational and avante-garde musical genres that have left him with a lasting zest to resist the mundane and produce new, fresh sounds.
An accomplished flautist and percussionist as well and having professional experience spanning over 25 years as a performer, recording artist, composer and arranger, Chris is most at home expressing himself as a worshipper of God using his instruments as an extension of his heart. He currently resides in North Bay, Canada.
