CIA Funky Fresh
Originaly from surinam, this Amsterdam-west based mc had payed his due's in the dutch hiphop scene. "chillin on the spot while dr doom was in the zone" -from fresh to the flesh. Starting out in 1988 with local crew named 'Scorpio', at this time hiphop wasn't a big business as it is today.
Funky Fresh appeared on various underground mixtapes, such as the Dutch classic " rhythm & rhyme, vol2". With several performances at Paradiso, Melkweg, Tivoli and other venue's Funky Fresh made a name for himself. He opened for and did shows with local and international mc's like: Crazy Cash Flow, Beatmasters, LJ Fresh, C.I.A., Rick D, Minstrel, Metropool orchesthra & Tim Dog.
After a five year silence Funky Fresh came through with Junk of tha Funk. Five new tracks which will mark the start of a new Funky Fresh era. More tracks are made by several producers and a new album is in the making.
