Depuis le premier jour, Pupa Beral est bercé par la musique, influencé autant par le Punk- rock que la disco, c'est tout naturellement qu'il se dirige vers la musique électronique en 1994. Avec son ami Manu aka Mosquito (nom de l'époque), les Perpignanais incarnent le second souffle de la scène underground , en organisant des tas de soirées déjantées..(No Name tribe). Pupa Beral se caractérise par des tonalitées plus sombres et new-wave dans le mouvement : une techno groove et dynamique, résolument dancefloor, mais qui sera vite influencée par des sonoritées plus industrielles. Dès son plus jeune âge, Pupa est attiré par la Punk énergie music : les Bérurier noir,Sex Pistols,The Clash,Exploited,Panic,Métal urbain,the banners,Front 242,Jean Michel Jarre,ect. Il débute les soirées en créant la "NO NAME TRIBE" dans le sud de la France. Beral n'a alors que 17 ans et commence à mixer, en bidouillant sur un magnéto K7 et sur une platine sans pitch. L'acquisition de vraies platines se révèlant indispensable pousse Beral à officier dans des soirées étudiantes, rave-party, soirées privées. .. D'autres courants le marqueront tels la techno américaine des Jeff Mills, Damon Wild ,Robert Hood, Armani, Joey Beltram…et de la vague Acid, la scène de Detroit, mais aussi d'artistes comme Marco Bailey, Ben Sims , Redhead... 2000, un tournant se produit en rencontrant au cours d'une soirée Val Grantom (Hard-club-rec), passionné de musique électronique ; un compositeur associé à un Dj ne peuvent que devenir des artistes à part entière... Affinités musicales et amicales oblige, Pupa Beral se met à composer avec Val Grantom, le mélange est comme celui d'un cocktail Molotov... Le projet Waft Prod était né. Ils enchaînent les productions, les mixs de Pupa Beral à 3 decks enregistrés au "Home Coocking Studio" dans le sud de la France. Sept soirées verront le jour dont la « Wargasmik » en 2005 et 2006 à Nantes." Le son de Pupa se peaufine, encré dans une techno hardgroove teintée d 'influences old-school, il crée la Wargasm-records - tout un état d'esprit - et trouve une résonance auprès de Redhead, Wjhenze, lars Klein, Arkus P, Robert Natus qui restent pour lui ses références. Son style oscille entre hard-techno mélancolique et tracks plus hardgroove. Longtemps connu pour ses mixs « Confidential édition », Beral qui est trés ouvert musicalement pond des sets de plus en plus éclectiques, jouant tour à tour techno, hard- techno ou productions plus mélodiques et ce mélange de ces styles est réalisé avec subtilitée à l'instar de ces compositions. ..
