D.J Quick is a London based Drum&Bass pirate radio DJ that had retired but recently been called back into action for a few D&B raves Phaze One, Flavourz & others. He started out like many other DJs listening to weekend Rush, Destiny 99.3, Sunrise, Kool & others. He bought a pair of dex & began to train himself in the art of mixing, D.J Quick is Compleatly self taught. He got his break when he used to go to D.J X.S’s Radio sets in the early 90’s on Pressure F.M, X.S done sets on there with Eksman, Riko, Herbzie, Spidey G & Trouble M.C (RIP), X.S got Quick in, then Quick went from strength to strength & the rest is history. He has done a lot of pirate radio in his time including regular Weekend slots on Cyndicut 97.8 F.M, Ruud Awakening 104.3 F.M & some smaller ones such as Wax F.M, Pressure F.M, Flash F.M, Reason F.M & others, He has worked with a whole host of M.C’s too including Eksman, Mirage, Blacka, Speedt, Curse, Easy A, A1, Sugars, Styla & many more sorry if you aint got a mention, Mirage & Quick were the self titled "South London supreme team" who were a team for about 3-5 years & reigned terror down on the airwaves of the South East Region. They have also played alot of small raves around Kent & South London, The highlight of Quicks D.J’ing career was when M.C Mirage & Quick were booked to play an illegal rave in L.A, they were treated like Kings out there with weed laid on all day, Proper Cali Orange too!!! They played several other raves out there too & even got as far as Bakersfield to play. All in all a good trip. Hold Tight Mirage!!!
