Giotto The Genius: part time dj, part time drummer with Braintheft, full time genius... Giotto is from Dublin, Ireland but currently living in Berlin and writing an album with triphop/dub outfit Braintheft. Giottos first musical influences in the early ninties were bands such as Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, Smashing Pumpkins and The Doors. From this he started to learn how to play guitar and drums. At the age of 14 he got his first set of turntables which sparked a new intrest in electronic music. In recent years he has started to make his own music and has a catolog of various types of music ranging from dub to techno to drum 'n' bass. He finished recording his first solo album, 'Hittin The Wrong Notes', in 2006, which is widely ranged in genres with a strong electric kick and hip-hop breaks. He then recorded his second solo album "Up The Dub" that is electric orientated with booming bass and querky vocal samples. He has finished a techno album, 'Raise The Technodrome', and is currently working on the live show. He is also working on a trip-hop/Electronic album with "The Real Side Project" as an ongoing project. The latest project has seen Giotto experimenting with DubStep sounds and creating a new electronica/dubstep sound...
