"The Edge" -- What does it mean?
- To live boldly for God!
- To stand fearlessly!
- To live above approach!
- To take risks!

What is our purpose as an organization?
- To make God known on-campus
- Develop leadership
- Develop and be involved in community service
- Build relationships
- Offer guidance
What are we believing for?
To seek something that has never been done before on LIT Campus! To make an impact on our campus as well as our community!
Our desires for the group are:
- to bring out boldness in those who are shy.
- bring out leadership in those who don't believe they have leadership skills.
- to stand out. (be set apart from the world)
- to see with new eyes.
- to shine for God and for God's presence to be the core of this group.
Our main focus is for God To Get The Glory!
Who can join?
All Lamar component students, who are officially registered, as well as faculty and staff who are interested in The Edge are eligible for membership into The Edge at Lamar Institute of Technology.
What this organization does to benefit the students
1. If you are here seeking something, you came to the right place.
2. If you are here wanting to deepen your walk with God, you came to the right place.
3. If you are here trying to find people that can encourage you and mentor you, you came to the right place.
4. If you are coming to fellowship with others that believe in God, you came to the right place.
5. If you are here wanting to help us further God's Kingdom, then YOU are in the right place!!!

Student Activities
We bring in guest speakers, pray on-campus, and have game and movie nights, etc.
