Electric Arc Radio

About Me

Electric Arc Radio is the most popular comedic/dramatic/live radio show on the planet that is not actually heard on the radio (internet!). Wait, we can't say that any more because we're going to be broadcast on The Current, from Minnesota Public Radio.

We perform this radio show live. It details the lives of four horrible and tormented writers who share a home and also booze and hugs and punches and a toaster. Alan Greenspan lives in a treehouse behind them (or did before we killed him).

Each performance is filled with song, fire, booze, fire, song, fisticuffs and radio-style dancing, sometimes of the footy variety, and the performers share the stage with phenomenal guests, from music acts like The New Standards, The Owls, Walker Kong, Chris Koza, Haley Bonar, JoAnna James and Jeremy Messersmith to big-ass personalities like Al Franken (yes, that Al Franken) and Tay Zonday (yes, that Tay Zonday). It is blinding and beautiful and horrible.

The Electric Arc is sponsored by 89.3 The Current, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, Hamline University, The Loft Literary Center and Bells Beer. Delicious, all. Come see us.

End of Season

Oh, but it is hard to look into the Ritz theater and see empty beer bottles and mic stands strewn about, the detritus of a season finale that left us pasted to the floorboards for two days. Did you h...
