When it comes to memorizing kick patterns and soulful samples, Wes P. also known as Wesley Polo has been captivating us with that great Chicago sound. Born and raised in Chicago's little Italy, Great Music has always been apart of everyday life. Most of Wesley's childhood memories are of his mother dancing and singing to the soulful sounds of Nancy Wilson, Marvin Gaye, and Leon Ware. To his father listening to the well orchestrated standards of the great Frank Sinatra. These artists could sing a single note and chills would roll through your entire body. This is the great music that inspired him to be who he is today. Coming from a family of exceptional musicians, music is in His blood, but unlike his musician relatives Wes never played a instrument. Learning & doing everything by ear, he is undeniably talented. The music just speaks to him with ease.Some artists he has been working with through out the years are, Trew, Soco Burns, Eshoel, and Wordsworth just to name a few. Trew is a new up and coming sensation. The legendary Ski Beatz produced several tracks for him. Trews latest single "swag" featuring none other than Ski himself is exploding everywhere! Trew recently dropped his E.P. titled "The Last Call". Wes P. produced also a track for Wordsworth from the Lyricist Lounge, his show aired on MTV in the 90's. Wes P. also has his own personal project in the works, called Chicago Certified. Keep a look out for that!
