About Me

Ultio are a 5 piece birmingham based metal band, originally known as "kopius" formed in 2001. In the years since forming Ultio has undergone many lineup changes and experimented with many musical styles. Renamed Ultio in 2007 with a solid lineup of Matt Walton(Vocals), Dan Benton(Guitar), Keg(Guitar), Matt Smith(Bass Guitar) and Robert Gill(Drums). Musical style includes a dark 7 string base sound and tight groove based melodies with overall musical style focusing on having each track sound individual and keeping the underlying groove present.
