Sérgio Crisóstomo

Professional musician since 1994, I'm graduated as classical violin player. Besides classical work, I developed through the years a special interest in folk music, adapting the violin to multiple music styles.I was granted the Gulbenkian music scholarship during conservatoire violin studies and in 2000 I was invited to represent Portugal in a International Folk music meeting in Brittany-France.Since 1998 I've been touring around Europe and China with different projects. Shared the stage with important names of Portuguese music like Mariza, Laurent Filipe, Carlos do Carmo, Camane, Mario Delgado, Bernardo Sasseti, Mario Laginha, among other great musicians, in orchestra or smaller bands.
