About Me

One half of a pair of conjoined twins, Miles Marsico’s life has been anything but easy. Following surgery at a young age to separate his face from that of his brother, Miles has been forced to take a cocktail of pills every day in order to keep bacteria from rotting his eyebrows off. Upon joining the Peace Corps, Miles’s battle with the microscopic fiends became even more difficult. Joining the Peace Corps would change Marsico’s life for the better, however. On assignment bringing the word of our Lord Jesus and vaccinations to the people of Rapa-Nui, Miles had a vision of that Island’s principal deity. The apparition informed Miles that the true path to salvation laid in the island’s traditional drumming. After ritually sacrificing the other missionaries to the Island’s gods, Miles adopted the customs of his hosts. He completed the development of his masterful drumming by banging the stretched out skins of iguanas at the initiation of the new chief. He currently lives in Palos Verdes with his German shepherd, Suzanne.
