"Asleep in a Box, not to be confused with that song sung by Justin Timberlake on "Saturday Night Live" (that was something else in a box, wasn't it?), ... plays electro-rock that sounds like the future - or the soundtrack to a good 1980s movie." - Boston Globe, April 26th, 2008
We are exactly what you have been looking for your entire life. We are the music that is constantly arousing and stimulating all of your senses. We know your likes and dislikes. "We are the music makers"....and we will music the pants off of you. Mostly because we hate pants.
Our first album "If I were a Squirt Gun Baby, I Could Make You Wet" was recorded in 2004 in a delapidated, grimey and run-down building in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. It's sweet. We used nothing but the bare essentials. No computers. Just good old fashioned hardware and instruments. Plus a Casio keyboard. Some of the beats were cut up with a sampler but step recorded first. But that was as tech as it got. Since then we have incorporated new toys, such as multiple effects boards, delays, and guitar pedals, as well as upgraded our old broken instruments to new, working ones, that we try hard to make sound like those old, broken ones. Our sound has evolved into an electro rock, crowd moving, face melting mashup of hiphop, electronica, hardrock, metal, reggae and synthpop that is guaranteed to make you get up off your ass and start shaking.
