Après avoir accompagné pendant un an le chanteur C. Michael, les YANKEES poursuivent leur route à travers le monde de la Country avec PAT, chanteur, guitariste et compositeur de grand talent, membre du groupe "Sioux Soon", ainsi que Clémence, nouvelle recrue au Violon.
La musique des YANKEES (dont certains membres sont musiciens professionnels et virtuoses depuis près de 20 ans), se danse bien évidemment, mais aussi...elle s'écoute!!!
En effet, cette nouvelle formation, résolument orientée "Country-Rock" et "New Country", privilégie dans ses choix esthétiques la Country moderne, avec un répertoire original, actuel et tonique, (voir liste complète ici ) adapté aux Line Dancers, tout en honorant sa mémoire avec un florilège de "Standards"de la Country d'autrefois..."ROCK 'N' TWANG !!!"
Having accompanied during one year the singer C. Michael, the YANKEES pursue their path across the Country world with PAT, the very talented singer, guitarist, and composer, member of the Band " Sioux Soon " , as well as Clémence, our newly hired Fiddle player.
The music of the YANKEES (who's members are professional and virtuoso musicians for almost 20 years), is danceable naturally... it is also listeneable !!!
Indeed, that new band, definitely “New Country” and “Country Rock” oriented, emphasises in its aesthetic choices the modern country, with an original, actual and tonic Song List (see complete list here ), that’s specially adapted to “Line Dancers”, also honouring the memory of country music with a few“ oldtime “Standards”..."ROCK 'N' TWANG !!!"
