De huidige bezetting bestaat sinds 2006. *** De bastah'ds:Ben Stam (zang) * Guillaume Dumas (gitaar) * Martyn C. Lok (bas) * Slobodan Ristic (drums) *** *** ****** *** ***Begin 2007 kwam de 'Appetizer'-demo uit. De vier studiotracks van die demo tref je in de 'speeldoos' aan, bovenaan deze pagina. En of je nu luistert naar Muse, Joyride, DeSEAver of baskah!, rock, funk en reggae vormen de basis van deze songs. En een flinke scheut drum'n'bass. *** *** *** In de mediaplayer staat ook een livetrack: Loaded Loser. Dit nummer laat de nieuwe koers horen. Meer nadruk op een stevige rockgroove. Ook hebben meerstemmige vocalen een belangrijker plaats in het nieuwe repertoire. Inmiddels is er voldoende nieuw materiaal voor een nieuwe geluidsdrager. *** *** ***De videoclip voor BBQ Waltz hieronder is lowbrow en past helemaal bij de gezellige bende in de oefenruimte, waar de meeste muziek ontstaat. Lok (bass) * Slobodan Ristic (drums) **** *** ****** Early '07 bastah! released four songs, collectively known as the 'Appetizer'-demo. Wether you listen to Muse, Joyride, DeSEAver or baskah!, rock, funk and reggae are the basic ingredients in the songs. And a firm splash of drum'n'bass. You can hear the songs in the music section above, along with a live version of Loaded Loser. This song shows in which direction bastah! music evolves; More emphasis on a solid rockgroove. More vocal harmonies, as well. Time to record some new songs! ***The BBQ Waltz video you see above displays bastah! in the cosy chaos of their rehearsal space. That's the place where most of the songs are born.
