One Last Time for Whispering Gallery...
Yes, this wil be the last time for Whispering Gallery.
After several albums, playing great gigs and having many great laughs it is time for us to quit.
We want to thank everybody who has bought our cd's, has visited our concerts or has helped us in any way!!!

Biography
Whispering Gallery was a melodic metal band from the Netherlands. With two
clean male vocals and an impressive grunter, they combine melody and
aggression with pure doom metal art. Their demo “Gallery of Dreams†(1997)
was recorded at Harrow Studios.
In June of 1998 they recorded their MCD “Poems of a Forgotten Dreamâ€.
It became an album with more diversity in the songs. In April of 1999 it
was released by Killerwhale Records. In August of that year “Like a
Dream of Never-ending Beauty Love never dies…†was recorded. This
spherical full-length album was released in April 2000, also by Killerwhale
Records. Both album were recorded at Harrow Studios.
In 2001 they decided to book Harrow Studios again.
Under the title “Lost
as One†they recorded 9 songs. The songs became more accessible but
remained heavy doom as always! In December 2002 the CD was released in
own control by Whispering Gallery. Funeral Harvest Records released the
CD in the USA. The reactions on all albums but especially this one were
very good. International critics, mostly webzines, were very excited about
the quality of this album.
“Shades of Sorrow†is the latest recording of Whispering Gallery. As always
the sound has grown but it still contains the typical Whispering Gallery
ingrediënts…This album was recorded at the Excess Studios and released by Greek label Burning Star Records. They signed a contract for the release of 2 albums.
Whispering Gallery has played together with bands like Within Temptation, After forever, Epica, Autumn, Ancient, Trail of tears, Detonation, Evoken, While heaven wept,
Pleurisy, Officium triste, The prophecy, Esoteric and many more…
