I believe in a long prolonged derangement of the senses in order to achieve the unknown. I'm more of a spiritualist than anything. I live to unveil the truth about the forces that drive us to stay alive. To fully understand what gives one hope, regardless of religion or ethnicity. To push my spiritual conciousness to it's fullest capacity. To comprehend true infinancy. I believe everyone has the right to persue their own maker. They say the meaning of life IS to find the meaning to life as you know it. I have studied several different religions such as Christianity. Having been raised until 18 in a severely conservative christan household, I rebeled (Like most preacher's boys). Plus, now If I wanted to I could argue just about any opinion from a biblical standpoint if I wanted to (but I don't). Then I got heavy into Wicca during most of high school. I also decided to read the Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey. Which I found to be very contradictory and extremely self centered. As I graduated I started exploring Native American traditions and early pagan practices such as Druidry. Ive also studied Taoism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism just to find out. I choose to observe primarily Druidic practices combined with some modern spirituality mostly because it is more discreet and revered than being full blown Wiccan. Wiccan are more agressive in Magick working and spells for personal gain, where I prefer to focus more on the appreciation of my Kindreds, the Divine and the spiritual wellness and abilities they provide for me.
As you can see in my headline I believe in conciousnes expansion. I believe hallucinogenic or mind altering tools such as LSD, Mushrooms, Peote, or Mescaline. If you have ever tried any of these you know what I mean....They can open doors and bring all the pieces of the universe into crystal clear perspective. I consider these substances to be spiritual tools. The earliest civilizations considered these "drugs" as plants of the gods, and they are when used properly. I also smoke pot regularly, drink socially and do ecstacy every now and again at raves. What are the pleasures of the senses if we don't indulge every now and again.
One trait I hold in highest regard is my continuous search for Arcane wisdom. I just got done reading the book Necronomicon witch roughly translated means "the expositing of the ways of the dead". It has a lot to do with the lives and customs of the dead. As well as the different realms of the gods who govern the dead, their spawn, and the manipulation of the dead for the necromancer's bidding. Even though I don't plan on dabbling in such Arcane arts as Necromancy, just having the knowledge under my belt is personally rewarding. Any book on any kind of theology or belief I'll snatch right up. I greatly enjoy learning about different explanations people have used through out time for purpose of our existance...
