If you've been a fan of live music around Yorkshire over the past umpteen years you've probably seen and heard at least one of them on the circuit.
Joe , Paul and Simon have played in various bands as well as together.
It was during session work at TheBigMix recording studio that some original material was played to Mercury Award contender and the force behind record label 48 Crash, Choque Hosein. It was decided there and then to put it through the studio and produce an album. After much deliberation and many differences of opinion, ten tracks were selected and The Artificial Flowers were formed.
The album, 'The Boy Whose Face Exploded' was recorded at Leeds studios, The Leopard Lounge and TheBigMix, produced by Choque and mastered by sound genius Dallas Simpson and will, if demand is there, be the first of several. It is available now as a download from iTunes.
Feedback on the edited unmastered tracks featured on this page would be appreciated.

It is with great sadness that we announce the
passing of our pal, bass player Simon.
He will be deeply missed and will
be a hard act to follow.
