This is peat's old bio if you don't know him....
Epileptic Peat is comprised of one seven-foot-tall woodsman. He plays the 8 string bass as well as other instruments to make a noise that it distinctly his. Epileptic Peat writes all his own material but can also be heard covering pieces from Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Brahms and your dusty but beloved NES.Epileptic Peat specializes in a tapping-fretting style of playing reminiscent (sic) of Michael Manring, Victor Wooten, Michael Hedges and Les Claypool. He also incorporates spoken word/prose into these almost instrumental songs. Epileptic Peat's first album was released in August 2004 under Shaman Records (Philadelphia). "The Minstrel and the Shill" was recorded at Seventh Wave Studios in Harrisburg, PA and CUE Studios in Washington D.C.. The CD was mixed by Jason Rubal and mastered by John Golden whose work can be seen in the albums of Primus, Sonic Youth, The Melvins and SuperChunk.
Epileptic Peat is currently working on his new LP due out at the end of summer 2007. He is also been working with the band "This Place is Haunted" since 2005 (www.ThisPlaceisHaunted.com). This Place is Haunted has currently released an EP ("The Sherwood Forest EP" - 2005) and a Double Disc LP ("Everything You Know is Wrong" - Video Game Music CD and "Ghosts in the Graveyard" - Original music CD). They have also since released the 2008 Game/Original EP "This Game is Fucking Bullshit" and "Your Song Will Echo Throughout the Vast Ocean" in 2009.
In 2005-2006, Epileptic Peat was also commissioned to write a score and soundtrack for the independent movie "Repairing James" written and directed by Jeremy Zerachak.
Stay tuned for new songs from the upcoming album "Ghost Notes" and "Earth:Sea" Series. Also stay tuned for new videos of Epileptic Peat, both live and produced.Stay Epileptic
