About Me

Mike Wall is originally from Croswell, Michigan, the setting for both of his novels, The Gatherers and The Enigma. At the age of nineteen, after attending St. Clair Community College and then Oakland University, he joined the United States Coast Guard. Mike spent a couple of years stationed in Greenville, Mississippi on the Coast Guard Cutter Patoka and worked the Mississippi River from Memphis to New Orleans. He was then stationed in Boston, before transferring to the stations in Harbor Beach and Port Huron, Michigan. The Coast Guard led to a three-year career with U.S. Customs at the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron. Mike spent a few years in Michigan before moving to Sarasota, Florida where he lives with his young sons, Luke and Cole. He enjoys fishing, yard work, and writing. He is currently completing his third novel. MyGen Profile Generator
Here's the reviews currently on Amazon :)-------------------------------------waiting on the next one, September 8, 2007 By Erika L. Klinert "kaka" (Michigan usa) - See all my reviewsWow kept me guessing all the way to the end!!! Great twists and turns all the way through a even better read than his 1st book....waiting for the next one!!! This book would make an awesome movie too!!!!--------------------------------Fast-moving suspense, August 23, 2007 By Susan Fredenburg (Sarasota, FL USA) - See all my reviewsI was "hooked" from the first page. The author's writing style is vivid and real. I could almost feel the cold wind blowing through the trees and sense the eyes of the coyotes. THE GATHERERS, by the same author, has the same suspenseful excitement as this book. It was a good read and I'm anxiously awaiting the next book.----------------------------------------------Good book, August 20, 2007 By Adrian Sponseller - See all my reviewsI really enjoyed this book. The author did a good job twisting the plot back around and it was one of the few books that I've read lately that I didn't already have the ending figured out before I got to it. I can't wait for book two and would recommend it to anyone who is into the paranormal and would like to read a believable theory on vortex. I particularly enjoyed how it tied Mother Nature into the paranormal as a naturally occurring phenomena.

Reviews- This one left me with some scary thoughts about a small town in Canada I used to visit. The isolated feelings and fear when you look into the darkness and think someone or something is looking back...The ending was a good surprise. If the story is believable it can scare you...this one does it. I’m looking forward to the second novel, way to go Mike....Norman Applegate author "Into The Basement"
