PAIN IS FEAR LEAVING THE BODY

About Me

Athletic and adventurous, I am in search of the ultimate rush. I enjoy being outdoors most of all, and can't pass up a sunny day, or a rainy one for that matter. I was born and raised in beautiful Bellingham, Washington and I plan to keep my roots firmly planted here through out my life in one way or another. I killed highschool and college and found them to be more social than practical, so I'm training to be a whitewater guide. In addition to adventure I like music and books, and a little TV, and I'm a movie fanatic. I've played competitve hockey for 17 years from BC to Boston, and from Sasakatchewan to Alabama and aquired my leadership and team building strengths through these experiences.

My Interests

Fighting for Canada's independence, drinking Irish people under the table, playing hockey and shooting pucks at referees (and linesmen), tapping my friends' phones and selling their private information to large corporations, flipping cops the bird, rafting huge whitewater, selling photographs both elicit and controversial scandal pics as well as high end portraits, landscape, and sports/action photgraphy, i like WINNING Apple Cups, turning down reverb, finding my missing socks, writing absurd sh*t and passing it off as my real interests on myspace. (SOME ARE REAL...)

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with a good heart and/or strong mind and, desire without prejudice of fear or sustained emotions that are most especially exerted and observed through physical strength and/or activity. NEVER GIVING UP! NO QUIT!

Music:

Paige and Plant. Townshend. Hendrix. Gilmour and Waters. Gossard and Vedder McCready and the drummer (HA!), Clapton, Cash, Dylan, Richards and Jagger, Cobain, Stevens, Joplin, Nicks and the "gang", Palmer, Harper, Mellencamp, Keatis, Flea, Navarro, Hetfield and Ulrich, PHEET and TRIGGERPOINT, shall I go on....and on......

Movies:

Anything done with a lens and a mic. SUNDANCE IS EXPLOITED - Redford's independent dream has become a commercial, "Paris Hilton Pary," nightmare in the form of a weekend extravaganza for "A" listers and gossip colomnists.

Television:

No Reality, but FOX's Thursday night line up (earl, office, scrubs) seems to hold my syndicated interest. Sometimes Grey's Anatomy for Stef.

Books:

Adventure. Mostly about people who get themselves f*cked and then unf*cked out in nature. From mountains to rivers, I like stories set in the Alaskan wilderness, Sierra Nevada range, BC and/or Alberta. I like more localized accouunts of adventure, cause it feels like something I might get myself into.(hopefully not...)

Heroes:

People with good work ethic and desire to succeed, even in the smallest of task at times. But success is not in never falling however, but in rising everytime you fall. So thus, I admire people who strive for excellence no matter the difficult battle and hard work they put into it without short term reward. As well as people like my father and grandfather who have the will power and inner mental strength to overcome addiction and re-claim their independence not only for themselves bu the loved ones around them due to their large capacity to believe in FAMILIA, and do it for those people as well. And lastly...ANYONE, that is pushing the limits and going for THEIR dreams...........!
