About Me

I'm independent, strong, fun...and the best friend that you could ever have!I don't fit any stereotypes that anyone has ever tried to attribute to me... and my good friends all say that I am not someone to be underestimated. I am a smart cookie with a loving heart, a "nice girl" with an edge. I've been successful in corporate America, but walked away to reclaim my life. In business, I can excel... but I've always been known as a maverick both in my professional and personal lives. I also have a very creative side to me. I am political, but not party-affiliated. I love deeply, but not often. Most of my close friendships last for the very long term... and if they do not, there is undoubtedly a reason.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I always like to meet new and interesting people... integrity, sincerity, and brains are the most important qualities that I look for in my friends. Also, you must have a sense of humor to hang with my offbeat personality!I love to meet people who effuse positive energy... Those who truly LIKE others. People who tend towards jealousy or negativity are not the sort that I wish to associate with. I always appreciate meeting creative types, and those who have a passion for charitable causes. Also, if you don't like dogs, we would probably never get along!I am not interested in meeting any sort of romantic interestes on MySpace. Whatever my relationship status may be at any given time, I like to make my decisions based upon qualities that are not easily ascertained in Cyberspace. Please don't proposition me for a hookup... it's not going to happen! I am selective about who I spend my time with, because life is short.

Can Love Be Learned?

When it comes to matters of the heart, I've always been the sort of person who felt that it was there, or it wasn't. It's always been as simple as that for me, and whenever I have gone against my grai...
