About Me

..

.."middle"

Element 4 began as a side project during the recording of an album by The Scarlet Winter Projekt. Shortly after the first demo, Element 4 gained popularity in the underground music scene, therefor swaying their decision to push forward with the project.
The first two cd's; The Shadowed Black & II are expected to be released at the same time, which has become the pledge of the band; to always release two albums and never wait longer than a year to do so.
Marc Fitzgerald/Cook, the man behind most of the recorded music, has begun work on a short film to accompany the cd release (each cd is considered, by the band, to be a soundtrack rather than an album). Charles Mills joined the band in March 2007 after a 19 year friendship with Marc. The two have been writing music together for a little more than 17 years and have both finally decided to begin this destructive project as a band.
Element 4 is expecting to release two albums this year, signed to their own record label, and are planning to come out firing against major labels (the band has already turned down one major record deal, they say it is to remain in a position to say what they wish to the public & dress how they'd like to be seen).
With the completion of the first two albums, Element 4 are now focusing on completing the upcoming movie; Tomorrows Yesterday. Also in the works is an animated series called Caves Creek, a dark representation of the world we live in, borrowing heavily from the goth culture. The first episode will debut on YouTube in Late March/Early April 09. Shortly afterwards the full series will be available from our online store.

After 8 months of recording, Element 4 has just completed 2 albums; The Shadowed Black & II.
The albums are written to accompany two short films created by Marc Fitzgerald/Cook. Not one single song on the two cd's directly relates to either of the films, but the feeling & meaning behind the music carries the emotions involved in particular scenes. If you listen while knowing the storyline you will watch it unfold throughout the album, if not; you will find a mixture of anger and love, hunger and greed, that spits at you with no care or consideration for anything but the big picture. Both albums can be purchased in mp3 format from our online store
