John Denver inspired many people to live their lives on a higher plane. The guys in the Friends With You band perform John’s music in the spirit of sharing John’s message. Each of the musicians brings their own special gift of talent to mix. For years each of the band members had their own musical careers. Paul Swanton, the lead guitar player, is a talented and precise musician and the author of an incredible John Denver songbook. Kevin Delmolino, our accomplished bass player and soaring harmony singer, has performed professionally in both the rock and folk world and is the anchor that keeps the band tight. Mark Cormican sings lead and harmony and plays a variety of percussion instruments. Mark’s songwriting, guitar playing, and rich tenor voice are featured on his many original CDs. His live performance is always accompanied by his engaging sense of humor. Chris Collins also sings lead and harmonies. He plays guitar, banjo, and a few other instruments. His songwriting has landed him honors in several songwriting competitions. Chris’ constant smile and gentle voice is one of his performance trademarks.When these guys play together, audiences are always delighted with an incredible experience of talent and spirit. The band members are sincere and engaging. Though John Denver is gone, his spirit of joy lives in every show that’s performed by the Friends With You band.
