The Hometown Hecklers

About Me

North Bay Three Chord Punk Rock n' Roll on the down strokes is what we're all about. Simple Music for simple minds. The Hometown Hecklers started with Ruggy and a couple of chums, Chucky and Brian, as a side project. Due to conflicting schedules the band decided to split. In August 2007 Ruggy, Kee Kee, and Pawly decided to start a new project and keep the name The Hometown Hecklers and play a few of the original songs that Ruggy had written. After approx. 5 months of Jamming and playing shows The Hometown Hecklers decided to add another guitar player, Josh Lambert to the line-up. As Josh has most of the same influences and digs the same style of music he was an easy and awesome addition! In June 2008 Pawly decided to move on and bid the Hecklers farewell. Matty Dent took over the skins and we're still rockin' as a four piece. After a great deal of hard work and dedication, Sept 13, 2008 we will be releasing our first cd, titled 'the heart and downstroke foundation'. A big thanx to Remo man and Non Partisan Records for the recordings and putting up with our shit! real editor best profile tools real editor best profile tools
