I'm the one... who after i came out, got a Christmas card from an aunt... saying "Merry Christmas... and be careful, anal sex will give you hemorrhoids" Yeah... wasn't that JUST a box of Christmas cheer! Sheesh!!
Just remember... and repeat this to yourself every time someone gives you a funny look, or a hard time. "They are the ones with the problem. I am just fine." Then go on with your life... discovering yourself and having a good time. That is what life is about!

A bit more about me... I am a graduate of VCSU, with a B.S. in Human Resourse Management (Human Service Track)and a double minor in Psychology and Sociology. I also have a Two Year Degree from Minot State University in Developmental Disabilities. I love writing, and did so for our small town newspaper for years. I have a HUGE interest in Anthropology and hope to get my masters in Psychological Anthropology in the near future.
I enjoy the outdoors and you will often find me out camping all summer. I am all about "Camping"... both kinds... the gay kind... and with a tent! Hmmm... come to think of it, both catigories are not so mutually exclusive if i recall my boy scout days clearly!
(OK... just kidding... i wasn't in the scouts... but DID play with some other boys in a tent... ah... the memeories!) I also love to swim, scuba dive, sail, canoe... and most water sports!
(ahem... behave... ;-)) Lets just say i consider myself "well rounded." There's more to me than just being gay.
Oh.. and did i mention i want my own Lama! They Rock!

I just recently moved from Fargo, where I worked with folks with Mental Illness and Developmental Disabilities. (If you think you'd enjoy a similar type of job, even if you don't have any experience feel free to check out RRHSF! )I loved that job and all my clients. They gave me grey hair and kept me young... never a dull moment with this lot! lol I love them a LOT! And miss them a ton! I am currently working in my social work field... because i'm good at it... and I enjoy helping people help themselves...
In my "extra special free time" In the past, i've volunteered for several organizations around the state of North Dakota. I did 5 years as a member of our local city council. I helped save several historic buildings in town; Including a Stone Church,Rectory, Barn and a 1916 Brick High School. This project won a National Trust Honor Award in 1999. Stone and Brick masonry, painting, shingling and other "handy" skills have unfortunately become some of my hobbies. ;-)
I enjoy music (both playing and listening), creative writing, movies, talking, napping, dogs, pizza, trying new foods, Diet Coke, singing, dancing and the outdoors; not necessarily in that order, and usually not all at once. Oh... and i have my right nipple pierced... a 25th birthday present! Ouch!
I am interested in many things... looking for friends... I enjoy chatting .., so If you think we'd hit it off, drop me a note, I'd be happy to talk with u.
I am gay; not Bi or questioning... I had my first gay sexual experience at the age of 12, and many thereafter. I've known I was gay since 11th grade when I realized that i was NOT bi... and I wouldn't "just find the right girl". Lets face it, i tried... and with girls... it was like shootin' pool with a rope. :-) From that point on... i knew what i wanted... Boys who Love boys! Physically, I'm into younger guys, smooth and dark skin a plus, tho not absolutely needed... otherwise emotionally, I enjoy guys who are relaxed, fun and enjoy laughing. People who are civic minded, or at least care about more than just themselves and their wardrobe. (Don't get me wrong, a kickin' outfit really rocks! But its not the end all be all of life.)
