About Me

I edited my profile at Doobix.com
Myspace LayoutsGotcha! So, since you're here. Might as well read up and take some notes on what not to write in a profile....apparently. I am seeking others who are true to themselves, in body and mind, and to others in the same light. Those who can accept my eccentricities, expecting the same in return. Those who make adjustments to understand, rather than generalize with misunderstandings. This is not a personal ad per se. I am utilizing this website as a segue to network, to socialize, and ultimately make new friends in the area. I'm not socially inept, I just haven't made a concerted effort to meet people because of professional obligations. Maybe with this manifest, i can do just that..and have some fun in the process. P.S. I couldn't think of a campy or cheeky moniker to go by, like blade, or mandingo. I'm just Mike. But if I 'had' to go by a nickname, it would be Jes..us, cause "nobody fucks with the Jes'us"~ Big Lebowski

My Interests

I think its time to lighten things up. By nature, I am a geek..I dont wear shit-kickers and watch Nascar, I dont run with a hatchet and drink faygo, and I dont ride a hog (muah ha ha) and huff airplane glue. Now when it comes to sports, Im kinda, sort-of a jock. I love fitness, fitn' is in there.Kidding. Seriously, its more out of habit than love, though. For fourty bucks a month, Im better off than Gary Busey circa 1980's-ish. What, you thought his teeth got that white from brushing? I also enjoy golfing, not because I think its tits(or the fact that you be lucky to see any), or because Im a tiger woods' bandwagon bitch. Its because Im sorta good at it. Im sure you, the reader, have something youre good at, that you are not particularly fond of, no matter how mundane. Hey some people can clear a room without saying a word. That my friend, is talent. And even though i am a "businessman/co-proprietor/whore/whatever", when it comes topics of interest, I like everything and anything associated with the arts and sciences. The art of all genres is appreciated, especially the esoteric. I feel artists challenge onlookers to crawl into their mind and percieve their creations as they do. And since I am warped and twisted, thats my cup of tea. Science is full interesting kickassery. Physics, astronomy (not astrology), and chemistry. Whats not to love. Knowledge like this could come in handy, if for instance, you get sent back to the days of 'yore with 76 olds, a chainsaw for an arm and your other fist full of boomstick. Stranger things have happened. which makes me think about the majority of patrons at Casinos these days...asians...illegal aliens...aliens....kevin bacon. Its all becoming so clear. Right. Moving on. Well, if you made it this far, I thank you for you time; time well spent. i am so scatterbrained, I could type for ages, but I probably couldnt make it through my own material. Thanks again, anyway.

I'd like to meet:

The guy on the other side of the mirror. I try to emulate everything he does.... Scooby-doo. Hes a good man. Got a pal named scrappy.... Christopher Walken & Steve Buscemi, both creepy, both type cast, both under appreciated.... A select few writers at Williams Street (adult swim), Bill Gates, Linus Tourneaux, the guy/gal that invented the 'Toblerone' candy bar, Steven "Beep Bop Boop" Hawking, and who cares. http://content3.i-am-bored.com/games/17278_parishiltondoll.g if

Music:

Brevity rules the roost, Ill keep it short and sweet. Im sooo off to a good start. Okay: Rock/Alt/Metal/Industrial; ie. My Chemical Romance, The Killers, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Darkness,Xiu Xiu, Metallica, Deadsy, Eve 6 (horrorscope only), Queens of the Stoneage, CKY, Red Wanting Blue (I dont have to explain myself), Tool, A Perfect Circle, Dragpipe, Butthole Surfers, NIN, Velvet Revolver, Breaking Benjamin, Eightteen Visions, Killswitch Engage, Slipknot, AC/DC, Pantera, Janes Addiction, Anthrax, Mudvayne, Disturbed, dont forget the 80s music. Ahhh the 80s, a time where people like myself were "cool"...as if. lol. Im sure there are more, but this is it for now. Rap, for the most part I dislike rap, but there is usually an exception to every rule: Old School; ie: Eazy-E, NWA, Ice Cube, Too Short, GETO boys, Tupac, the Wu, the liks, mac mall, melly mel, jaru the damaga...word Country: Ive heard some country that I didnt mind listening to, but it was some old ass uncle tom's school for the chromosome deficient, shit. Classical: I appreciate. R&B: I am capable of enjoying R&B; Marvin Gaye, Clarence Carter(love that "patches"), Al Green, Muddy Waters, etc.

Movies:

I am a cult/indie flick enthusiast personally, though as long as it isnt recycled mainstream garbage...Ill watch it. here are some examples: Cemetary Man (coolest film ever), Requiem for a Dream, Night Watch(Nochnoi Dozor) Gummo, Jillian the Donkey Boy, He Loves Me; He Loves Me Not (À la folie... pas du tout) Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, Happiness, Dario Argento (Inferno, Suspiria, etc), Boondock Saints, most of Steven Kings work, Evil Dead/Army of Darkness, Hurly Burly, Party Monster, American Psycho, Deliverance, Taxi Driver, Monsters Ball, Monster, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Prophecy Trilogy, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, anything comic book related (xmen, batman, superman, etc), Akira (anime), Donnie Darko, Adaptation, Ghostbusters, Goonies, Better Off Dead, One Crazy Summer, How I Got Into College, Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare On Elmstreet, Die Hard trilogy, Killer Clowns from Outer Space, Screwed, anything John Candy (inc. spaceballs), monty python, office space, cheesy horror flicks, period.

Television:

Britcoms: Peep Show, Nighty Night, Father Ted,Faulty Towers ATHF, Sealab 2021, Futurama, Family Guy, Venture Brothers, Dragonball, DBZ, DBGT, Reno 911, Back to Norm, Deadliest Catch, Maury Povich, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Screen Savers, Attack of the Show, Ghost Hunters, Cops, documentaries (ie history channel stuff, and junk)I dont watch all too much TV where it consumes me. May all reality inspired television programs be cast from the material sphere.

Books:

Requisites of college; like "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" (Italo Calvino)...thats about it. I dont read books as often as I do magazines. And yes, I wait for the movie to come out. When it comes to magazines I am akin to American Scientific, popular mechanics, popular science, maximum pc, motor trend, and ill pick up some others if they catch my eye like a maxim UK edition..otherwise thats it.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, and everyone else who has ever contributed something positive to society. (I still havent figured out whether or not the hippies are included)
