Hi, we're The System, a seven piece ska band formed in south northamptonshire/oxfordshire, in David Taylor's 'Rockschool' establishment.
We're here to play you some bone crushing mayhem jazz. We'd like to keep our gig calender busy, so if you would like to book us, please message us (via MySpace) or email us at; [email protected]. We'll play anything from parties, to pubs to competitions. So please don't hesitate in contacting us.
We've been out and about recently playing some intimate shows, we would like to build on that this spring/summer. In January 2009 we entered a 'Battle Of A Bands' and got through to the final! The final saw us play what was probably our best ever set. We saw off bands such as The Social Animals, CoConi, Valhalla, VooDoo Shakedown, and The Inside Story to claim first place and win!
At the moment we're trying to get a bunch of summer shows. We may be recording an EP soon, in a slightly different way to how most bands do it, we'll let you know if anything materializes...
