About Me

novemberSongs is the publishing and production company for 3 time CCMA record producer of the year and SOCAN and ASCAP award winning songwriter Joel Feeney. In the early eighties, Joel was a member of A&M recording artist The Front, releasing two albums which yielded the hits 'Your Street", "The Haunting" and "Underworld". In 1991, Joel switched gears and recorded his first solo album, Joel Feeney and Western Front on MCA Canada. Throughout the rest of the nineties, two more critically acclaimed albums were released with the single "What Kind Of Man" reaching number 1 in 1995. During his recording career, Joel continued to write songs for other artist, most recently for LeAnn RImes; "Nothin' 'Bout Love Makes Sense" which reached number 1 in Canada and number 5 in the US. His production on Doc Walker earned him Producer of the Year for the albums "Curve" in 2002 and "Everyone Aboard" in 2003, and Gil Grands latest CD "Somebody's Someone" in 2006. Joel was a writer with Sony Music, BMG Publishing, Chrysalis Music Group and Combustion Music/Windswept, and his catalog is co-published through novemberSongs.
