Here is a little piece of Omicron's history.
This project was started in the end of 2006. With 4 friends but after few months turned out that Vladimir was the only one that was still exiting by making decorations and working hard on it and that the others that call themselves 'friends' don't give a shit about the whole project :). So since 2008, OMICRON is 'one-man show'! Eitherway, it is a lot better this way :)
Vladimir was born in a small village near the city of Ivano-Frankivsk in Ukraine, where he lived until he was seven then he moved to Slovakia. After having lived seven years in Slovakia, in the summer of 2002 he moved to Belgium. The strangest thing is that during all that time he was never interested in music!!! But! It all changed in the summer of 2003 when he got together (during the summer holidays in Slovakia) with two brothers (Michael Candrak (well known as Guarana) and Peter Candrak). The two brothers who were (and still are) fascinated by psytrance and progressive music, gave him the advice to listen to it. He started to listen to this music, then he went to a psyparty… and that’s how it al begun. After more than four years of listening to psytrance and going out to psyparties, Vladimir has met a lot of interesting people from different countries and he has realized how important the decorations in the psyparties are. He got excited by the technique called StringArt, but he didn’t know anything about it, but after a few weeks he discovered how it works and the first decorations have been created. And in 2006 he decided to start this project. Omicron exists now just over two years but has devoleped to an exclusive, well-known and respected deco-project and has already decorated a lot of parties in Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Slovakia, worked with some of the world's most famous and respected artists like Flour Elysium (The Dream Team), Fluorobotanics...and more. Numerous decorations have also been sold abroad Ireland, England, France, Belgium, Slovakia and Netherlands. This days it happens that Omicron decorates even two different parties at one night! In 2009 Vladimir starded a new and completly different deco-project (www.myspace.com/phaidondeco). It's still in progress, but without a doubt you will hear a lot of this project in the near future.
