I’m Melanie, I’m 18 years old, and I’m a sophomore in college at TCU. My life can be so complicated at times and my biggest flaw is that I think WAY to much, but its only because I care. I love the color PINK and i love dancing in my underwear. Sometimes I'm a mess and usually my room is too. I laugh at stupid stuff and ALWAYS say the wrong things at the wrong time. I cry for no reason and can get mad SO easily. I'm not perfect..my hair doesn't always stay in place and I tend to mess things up a lot. I do things without thinking first and have a tendency to accidently piss people off without meaning to. Sometimes I fight with the ones I love and some days, NOTHING goes right, but when I take a step back, thats when I realize how truly amazing life is and how lucky I really am. Maybe I like being unperfect... I’m so lucky to have the things I have in life and I thank God every single day for everything. Sometimes I wish I had more free time to appreciate the little things in life, but its so fast paced that we get so caught up. My number one goal right now is to graduate from school in 3 years. It’s already been SO HARD but nothing comes easy and that the most important thing I’ve learned in my life so far. I try to take things day by day and try my best to make those around me happy because it makes me happy...especially when it’s the ones i LOVE.I LOVE MAKING PEOPLE SMILE! I love painting cause the whole world disappears around me. I love sparkles and rhinestones. I love lacy stuff and anything with bows. I love Pomeranians.. a pom WILL me my first puppy! :D I love fashion (its my major!) and love dressing up. I love being tan all over and love laying out in the sun. Rainbows and sunshine make me happy. I love swimming when its raining and LOVE kissing in the rain! I love SHOES. Flip flops are my life (with the exception of heels of course). I love my mustang convertible and driving fast. I LOVE CALIFORNIA. I love good music. I love SLEEPING. I love my family even though they tend to NEVER agree with me. I love Springtime and the smell of flowers. Most of all, I love not having to worry about ANYTHING and worst of all, I hardly ever have that feeling.What Ive learned in life is that sometimes you have to take things day by day. NOTHING COMES EASY. You have to work hard to get what you want. Sometimes it means losing sleep. Sometimes it means working late. And sometimes it means doing things you really dont wanna do, but in the long run, it will all be worth it. Along the way, people will try to bring you down. DONT listen because those people are the ones that don't matter. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, and no second chances. You just have to live life to the fullest. Laugh as much as you can. Spend all your money. Tell someone how much they mean to you. Tell someone off. Speak out loud. Hold someone’s hand. Kiss and dance in the pouring rain. Comfort a friend. Fall asleep watching the sun come up. Stay up late. Be a flirt. Smile even when life hurts. Don’t be afraid to take chances. FALL IN LOVE. Most of all, LIVE IN THE MOMENT cause someday, when you look back on it, knowing you have no regrets is what will make you SMILE. And Most importantly FOLLOW YOUR HEART, FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS, and DO WHAT YOU WANT because it's YOUR life and YOUR heart and sometimes, all youve got is YOURSELF.
