About Me

I started learning about music at age 10 and began playing Electric Bass at age 12, have been "working" (playing in clubs) since I was 15, doing sessions since age 17. Played in major clubs, festivals, and all types of venues all over the Northeast USA including Boston, New York City, CT, and all points in between. Have also played in Nashville, L.A., Chicago, etc. I have shared the bill artists such as P.O.D., Luna, Ours, Peter Wolf, G. Love and Special Sauce, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band to name a few. Done lots of sessions with many artists including Alexander Janko (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Andy Pratt (remember "Avenging Annie"?), Ed Toth (Doobie Brothers, Vertical Horizon), Vita (Ritchie Blackmore), Annete Farrington (Opium Den), Chris Ballini (JCAT w/Aaron Lewis), Brooks Williams among others. Appeared on the soundtracks for MTV's "The Real World" and the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, as well as the soundtracks to the CD-Rom/Software game "Central High" and the Matt Berman film "F.A.R.T. the Movie" (aka Artie).Some other bands/artists I've worked with, past and current: Tom Ingram Band, Presence: A Tribute to the Music of Led Zeppelin, Jamie Kent and the Options, Heather Maloney, Stumpgrinder, Chris Wilhelm, Fresh Music Sound Library, Barry Kingston and the Screaming Souls, Frank Manzi, The John Cantalini Band, The John Mulkerin Band, Beth Hammond, Mario Sevayega, Celia, The Karaoke Death Squad, Phil DaRosa, Chris Piquette, Impulse, Annette Farrington, The {real} Ripchordz, Hard Drive, Katie McD, Guilty Pleasure, Velvet Jones, The Soul Sensations, Michael Gregory, Abby Connolly, Matt Lashoff (former Boston Bruin, current Tampa Bay Lightning), Stu Getz, Justin Eck. I Have also held the Bass Chair for several stage productions including The Majestic Theater's presentation of "Trailer Park the Great American Musical", "Songs for a New World" (at both Eastern Nazarene College as well as The Walnut Hill School), and "Twice Upon a Time" (Pittsfield, MA).I have the pleasure of playing with some of the area's best players on a regular basis. Sounds Like: I make "sounds" with Lakland and Fender basses (fretted, fretless and 5 string) and Ampeg amps and cabinets. I sometimes stomp my MXR M-80, EHX BassBalls, or my trusty EBS Octabass.
