To be completely honest I never wrote my own Bio before, and at this time in my life my head is so burned out from weed, trifling women, and the ever so continued pain we all experience, its been hard to put together a thought, let alone have proper grammar or spelling. This is the story of me, to me I'm just me, to anyone reading this, I am either a stranger or I’m Raida, one flag carrying member of the up and coming hip hop group known as No Good People, to some I’m both...(try to keep up) Born Sept. 19th 1979 in upstate NY, I wasn't a rapper, MC, what ever you want to call it (obviously), I was a white kid (obvious again) My father was in the military at the time and my mother was stationed there with him. After his release we moved back to the neighborhood were they grew up, Queens NY, Growing up in queens was an experience ill never forget, life was not easy for me or my family, Being one of the only white family’s in the neighborhood made it extra important to for me to want to fit in, and show everyone I was just like them, that...got me into trouble. Through High school my parents had forced me and my brothers to move out to a Long Island town just on the out skirts of queens because they felt we would get into less trouble there...they were wrong. Things were reversed, in Queens I never touched a Newport, beer, or drug, but in Long Island that’s all there was to do. Different place, same Raida. During the mid 90's I met Catch 22, for all of you that don’t know, that’s "Mr. Hyde", and "Exlib", that was my first introduction to what would become the rest of my probably short existence on this earth, A raw and incredibly expressive culture known as hip hop, and I felt I was tailor fit for it. I had a ruff experience coming up in the spitting game, due to Catch 22 being the harshest critics ever to give an opinion, but in the end it was the best thing to ever happen to me, it helped sharpen my skills to the highest extent possible. In the late 90's was really when all the madness began, it was when I started to bring my younger brother into the culture (O Doub) and that’s also when we both met another set of brothers also from the same old hood in Queens, Stress, and Strange, also into the hip hop culture, and also the only set of white brothers that rapped within a hundred mile radius, maybe for that reason alone why we clicked so perfectly. We Called the group "No Good People" and listen to the music, its self explanatory, the sound became fresh and exciting not because of the music itself, or the production either, it was because of the personalities behind it all, the group, or the formula would never work with any other members. For the last couple of years the group has signed an independent contract and is building our craft to perfection, or in hip hop terms "paying major dues". You want to know more?
