About Me


For over a decade 23 year old Beat Pimpa born Jeffery Lopez has been involved in music production. Working with only an old broken down keyboard and a dual tape deck in the mid 90's BP started on his beat making skills in his hometown of El Paso, TX. Music was an outlet for his frustrations in life and a way to express himself. Pimpa started to become serious about a career in music as he entered high school taking demo tapes around his school and neighborhood to get feedback. By the time BP had graduated from high school at the age of 17 he had recorded and produced many local artist around El Paso. Staying in El Paso for college, BP studied business and law while doing gigs as a DJ at parties around town. Later BP left to further his music career in Phoenix, AZ at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. Graduating at the top of his class, Beat Pimpa left school as a knowledgeable audio engineer certified in Pro Tools, Apple's E Logic ,and other industry standard recording and production tools. Days after graduation Pimpa moved to Atlanta where he worked at the Sound Lab in Smyrna, GA. Beat Pimpa has worked with various artist and companys including: BME, Lil Jon, Lil Scrappy, Trillville, Crime Mob, Bohagon, Trill Town Mafia, Princess and Diamond, Raeshon, Grand Hustle, Donald Young (tennis player), Animal House, Sony, RMD/Universal, New Jersey Nets, LeToya Luckett (former member of Destiny's Child), Tha Wunda Twinz, Candi (Xscape), G's Up, Isaiah Smith, Playa Circle, Bad Boy, Co-Defendants, and others. Currently BP is working with artist around the U.S. using an original and unheard blend of sounds in his production, presently not heard in the rap, hip hop, and R&B scene.If you need beats and REAL production hit me wit a message!!
