Deejay Kev-ski has more than 25 years experience in hip hop. He started out during the late 70’s/early 80’s deejaying at block parties around the neighbourhoods of Harlem. He worked closely with such artists as Doug E. Fresh, Bizmarkie, Rob Base, Masterdon, The Force Emcees and many others. During that period he also met Doc Luv and formed the duo Doc-luv & Kev-ski. Their partnership led to a deal with Zakia Records and the 1988 release of ‘I Aint Goin Out Like That’/’Overdose’- now a rare and hugely sought after 12â€.
Kev-ski went on to tour the World with Doug E. Fresh & the Get Fresh Crew. Other artist on this legendary hip hop tour included Kool Moe Dee, Whodini, Eric b. & Rakim, Bizmarkie, Public Enemy, LL cool J, Krs-one, Stetsasonic.. The list goes on. Doc Luv & Kev-ski still reside in Harlem, and have continued record and rock crowds all over the globe like the golden age of hip hop never ended...
