About Me

I am a 26yo stay at home (but working at night) mama to jackson, my almost 5 YEARS OLD! monkey. I live in seattle with my family, but love to travel a lot. I mostly go to the midwest (Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan), but in the spring of 2005 we did go to New Zealand for 2 weeks. It was everything it could have been. We went Glow worm caving, and Jet boating, and unfortunately, by the time in the day we go to Queenstown, we couldn't go bungy jumping because they were all booked up, but next trip, we are definitely doing that. We recently went white water rafting for the first time ever, and we did a level 3 technical river. It was amazing, and I loved every minute of it, even when I got my migraine! I am caring and sensitve, but I can also be a hardass (I potty trained my son in 3 weeks). I have problems, just like everyone else. I am not going to deny that. But If you get to know me, you will know i have an excellent sense of humor and if you ever get to hear my laugh in person, you will be addicted to it :)I grew up in a small hick town in Washington, where the majority (of my family at least) thinks Seattle is the worst place in the world and is the ghetto. To this day, my parents have visited my house only a handful of times, but I guess I start to just accept that. Its my life, my family, and I choose to have them near the city. A place where you can walk two blocks and catch a bus. a place that "has" buses.I love to go to concerts. I love music, period. You will find i have very eclectic tastes, anywhere from NIN to Moby, to Dolly and johnny cash, to classical, jazz and pop.So if i sound at all interesting, drop me a line.

My Interests

Music, New Zealand(hey we went for 2 weeks!), hiking, camping, nature, internet, literati, teaching my son to think of everyone as equal. Spending time with my husband, going to awesome concerts and much, much more!
