SERENADE

About Me

Serenade is an experimental music project. It is the result of long years of song writing mixed with few months of material organization, production, copyrighting and selection to be recorded for a near-future official release. It’s the result of an urge to bring something new and original mixed with the need of doing something cohesive and conceptive.

The concept goes by the inner self, rather than the outer world. Serenade is all about Romanticism and Escapism, and the main idea is just to feel, to a high degree. No matter what type of feeling. This concept is also translated into music, expressed in soft and melodic instrumental and vocal lines, mixed with the contemporary weight and distortion.

The project is not strongly attached to any particular music style, since the influences are very extensive, ranging from Classical Music to Industrial; from Punk Rock to Progressive Metal; from Quality Pop to Underground Gothic. A good musician's goal is to sound unique. Only then, emotions can be provoked.

The name “Serenade” refers to the mythological songs of the Sirens, wich were different than everything one could ever hear, but yet so soft and expressive that it's lure was unavoidable. (Eventually bringing sailors to their death... But we won’t do that to you just yet :P)
