Born in New York City to Jose and Juana Cruz, Lorraine becomes second generation hair stylist and calls her mother her first mentor, and hair GURU. Thru the years of being exposed to the management and technical skills of the family owned salon enviorment, she delve into her creativity and showed promissing signs of being a great stylist with her dexterity skills at a tender age. Executing her first successful blow dry at 9, full set of acrylic tip nails at 10, and first set of high lights by 12, she grew rapidly like wild fire in the salon. Learning the ABC of this magnificent hair industry. After completing college, double major in Business Administration and Psychology, went on and graduated from a prestigious hair academy in New York City. She ventured into editorial, high fashion, video and movies sets, fashion weeks, worked in upscale salons, and gained invaluable experience. She honed to her technical skills and worked along side this industries best kept secrets and world renown Icons. Lorraine combined her back round in hair dressing with business development and decided to become a passionate educator for the hair field. Then came upon Bio Ionic.Bio Ionic opened doors for Lorraine and introduced her to a higher level of the Hair Styling Profession. She is now part of there Global Creative Team, and is one of there Master International Educators. Lorraine travels around the world with the global team imparting knowledge, insight, experience and passion. Along with the likes of Sassoon, Toni and Guy, Paul Mitchell, Robert Cromeans, Rusk, The Farouk system, Wella and many more pioneers of the hair industry, she strives to continuously give back to the styling community. She enjoys being on the front lines and back stages of this magnificent industry to innovative todays progressive styles and trends of tomorrow imparting positivity towards the creative art of hair. She now lives in Florida with her son Matthew.
