On My Search for Amazing Band Members.
I have finished recording with Willie Carmichael and have now my first song ever written. The music was written by Steve Neth of Bend. It is titled "Looking for Love" and has a different feel than the covers I sing. I hope you like it and feel free to rank it and leave comments. In the mean while, while you listen I hope Rosanne Cash is walking down a dirt road in your mind.
My Name is Natalie Rea Carter; I am Fifteen, a Oregon native and a recording artist. I lived in Kentucky for five years of my life and there found my love for country music. I have been singing since I was three years old and my karaoke player has been the only thing that ever kept me in my car seat. :] I will sing anywhere. You will find me at the local birthday party, crab feed, potato festival and Ball Game. I tour around fairs during the summer and it is amazing. The Tulelake Fair was my first gig when I was eleven years old which my wonderful grandmother attained for me. I love you! You will defiantly be sure to find me there every year.
I sing a range of classic to new country songs and I love living and networking in the music scene. I plan on attending Belmont University in Nashville and living in Music City. I have attended the Renee Grant-Williams Master Voice Class in Nashville for three years. I have trained both with Christy Sutherland, a beuatiful texas native who is an accomplished singer / songwriter herself. She is my second top friend, go listen. She is amazing! I have also taken lessons with the Renee Grant Williams, my top friend. She has trained the Great singers such as Brenda Lee, Sara Evans, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and soo many more. I love to stay up on the music life and I have dreams of singing at the CMA Fan Festival in Nashville! I have been to the fair twice and it is the most amazing experience. The concerts are fabulous and I love seeing my favorite artists perform all day. It is a singer’s dream.
At the CMA Fan Festival in Nashville I competed in the Music City's Rising Star Talent Show with 250 other teens from all over the country. I was the only one representing Oregon. I won Fourth in my divison. I will also be able to compete in the talent show for the next three years. I also want to compete in the American Idol when I am sixteen. :D Wish me luck.
